Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)

A common, locally invasive skin cancer, that progresses slowly and damages surrounding tissues, but is unlikely to spread from the locality. The main causal factor is excessive sun exposure. Proper treatment is radical surgical excision, which allows complete healing.
